Salary ranges from $40,000 - $60,000 with increases upon completion of each phase of training. Our management trainees are the future leaders of the organization. The program is designed to aggressively give hands-on experience to our trainees with the expectation for them to be a Terminal Manager within 12 months. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Engage in all aspects of the structured training program and learn all aspects of operations including linehaul, dock and city inbound/outbound freight operations. \xc2\xb7 Gain a strong understanding of how to supervise and direct all activities of dockworkers, drivers and other supporting staff engaged in the loading, unloading and transport of freight. \xc2\xb7 Develop knowledge and ability to prepare and plan the daily utilization of resources to ensure a consistent and efficient operation. \xc2\xb7 Learn the methods of on-the-job safety to foster safe handling and loading of hazardous materials. \xc2\xb7 Develop a strong comprehension of the company operational model, policies and procedures. Ideal Candidates Will Possess: \xc2\xb7 Bachelors/Associates degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. \xc2\xb7 Career interest in Transportation or Logistics. \xc2\xb7 Effective organizational and planning skills. \xc2\xb7 Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Flexibility to work any schedule within a 50-hour work week. \xc2\xb7 Willingness to relocate throughout the program and following completion either temporarily or permanently.
