Generally, salaries start at the lowest level of a step 1 and increase with each year of service to the highest level of a step 10.

The Position
Management Analysts conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis.
The Department of Business and Industry is recruiting to fill a Management Analyst 2 position within the Fiscal Services Section of the Administrative Services Division in Carson City. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, and maintaining contracts for the Department; ensuring all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and internal controls while supporting program objectives, division staff, and fiscal integrity. The incumbent provides guidance, tracking, and assistance to divisions in drafting and reviewing contract documents, negotiating terms, coordinating with program and fiscal staff, tracking deliverables and deadlines, and monitoring vendor performance. They will directly manage select contracts related to the Director's Office while helping ensure that division contracts are completed in compliance with requirements and providing support when needed.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods or procedures; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of professional experience as described above; OR one year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.


Special Requirements

This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.


Additional Position Criteria

Contract management experience.
