The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems. This role ensures that all operations run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and complete necessary repairs.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and suggest solutions.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Install, repair, or replace equipment parts, fixtures, and components.
Collaborate with contractors or external service providers when necessary.
Keep accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inventory usage.
Assist in facility upgrades, renovations, and improvement projects.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or certification preferred).
Experience in general maintenance, facilities, or a related trade.
Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment:
May require standing, walking, bending, or working in confined spaces.
Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
May require on-call hours, overtime, or shift work depending on company needs.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 - 35.0 per week
