Job Summary


We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of our residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and supporting ongoing facility improvements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and supervisory skills in a fast-paced setting that values teamwork and quality craftsmanship.

Duties



Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Conduct residential painting projects to maintain property aesthetics and protect surfaces Operate welding equipment safely to repair metal structures or components as needed Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors during specific projects or ongoing tasks Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions Support facilities maintenance efforts in manufacturing environments or large residential complexes Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents or tenants Assist with supervising safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements



Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong background in electrical work, mechanical repairs, welding, and plumbing Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems is essential Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accurately Experience with CMMS software for work order management is preferred Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on skills in welding and residential painting Familiarity with using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics Supervising experience or leadership skills to guide team members effectively Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, working at heights, or in confined spaces safely

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 per week
