Description of Position
Performs and assists with basic and routine installation, maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, utility systems, specialized apparatus and grounds of the hospital. May be assigned to one or more sections such as general maintenance, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school dipoloma or equivalent, required. Graduate of two (2) year vocational or trade school preferred or one (1) year experience as a journeyman helper or apprentice in one or more of the building trade crafts such as electricity, plumbing, carpentry, air conditioning, or painting; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functinos of this position.
