Pennswood Village, a nationally respected senior care community located in beautiful Bucks County, PA is seeking a Full Time Maintenace / Security Assistant.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am- 3:00 pm

JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance / Security Assistant implements safety and security programs and performs maintenance assignments.


Participate in the safety and security programs of Pennswood Village. Functions as a First Responder in all emergency situations. Lead residents/staff/visitors to a safe location in any fire/medical or emergency situation according to Pennswood evacuation and emergency procedures. Communicate with the Command Center during any emergency event to ensure coordinated evacuation activities. Knowledgeable of all Pennswood Village safety programs and emergency response procedures. Problem solve during emergency situations. Contact appropriate staff. Maintain knowledge of Pennswood mechanical, fire, and medical equipment. Maintain knowledge of Facilities related computer systems. Participate in accident/security investigations under the supervision of the Safety Manager. Evaluate any emergency equipment failure and contact appropriate Facilities staff for further direction. Perform building site work as assigned. Participate in snow removal or other weather related emergencies.
