Job Description

R&S Maintenance is currently seeking experienced millwrights and industrial maintenance technicians to join our team supporting the Topeka / Emporia market. Welding experience is not required, but is an advantage.

Role and Responsibilities

Below are listed many of the main roles and responsibilities of a Field Millwright at R&S Maintenance Services, Inc. This list is not exhaustive and there may be other duties assigned.

Installation of machines, conveyors, platforms, hand and guardrails, etc.

Repair of damaged machines, conveyors, etc.

Lift machines, place them on designated areas, and position them

Aligning gears and attaching motors

Connection of belts

Reading blueprints

Lubricating equipment

Completing various facility maintenance projects

Comply with regulations and safety requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Candidates for the Millwright position shall have at least a high school diploma or GED, Vocational training or at least 5 years of on the job experience, pass any and all relevant mechanical aptitude tests, and may undergo trainings and technological advances. Candidates must also be able to lift at least 25 pounds comfortably. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
