About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
On-Call Handyman
to support the maintenance needs of our Airbnb properties inKokomo, IN
. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexible, as-needed work and takes pride in keeping properties in excellent condition for guests.Responsibilities
Respond to maintenance requests as they arise, typically for small repairs or fixes Perform light plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry work as needed Repair or replace items such as door handles, light fixtures, cabinet hardware, and minor leaks Troubleshoot guest-reported issues quickly and professionally Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate clearly with the property manager regarding repair needs, supply requirements, and timelines
Qualifications
Prior experience in general maintenance, handyman, or repair work preferred Ability to diagnose and repair common household issues Basic tools and reliable transportation required Strong communication skills and dependable work ethic Must be available for occasional short-notice calls, including weekends
Schedule
Flexible, on-call basis depending on property needs Hours vary week to week
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week
Work Location: In person
