Job Description
Description: As a painting and maintenance engineer you will help ensure that all areas of the resort are maintained to the highest appearance and working condition. Maintain the Guest rooms, public space, and back of the house areas to ensure they are presentable and in good working order. Job Responsibilities:
- Complete daily job assignments and work orders in a professional and timely manner.
- This is a fast-paced position that will involve prioritization and moving from assignment to assignment as the need presents itself.
- Reply to all Guest maintenance requests in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
- Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the hotel and facilities.
- Keep maintenance supplies cataloged, stocked, and orderly.
- Assist other maintenance Team Members with special projects as needed and assigned.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, guest rooms, public areas or equipment as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 years painting and wallpaper background, including Tile and Drywall knowledge.
- Knowledge and experience in installing and preparing drywall and plaster surfaces.
