Job Description
Maintenance Director Promenade Health and Rehab:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations and Life Safety inspections of our facility. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handy man type work including basic plumbing sinks and toilets, changing ballasts, drywall repair, and painting.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our elders and their families to feel safe and comfortable.
- Scan to computer completed inspections of generator testing, sprinkler system gauges, conduct fire drills, etc.
- Routine repair of wheelchairs, beds, etc
- Coordinate required quarterly and annual inspections with vendors on fire alarm, sprinkler system, etc.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement
- Oversee equipment installations and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance and minor repairs.
- Basic computer
- Excellent project management abilities to plan and execute maintenance projects effectively
Pay for this position will be based on experience within the pay rate for this job.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
