Maintenance Assistant / Janitorial - Buildings and Grounds Department

• $17.15 to $18.82 per hour depending on experience

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

• Keeps campus buildings in clean and orderly condition.
• Performs some light maintenance duties such as: changing light bulbs and fixtures.
• Dusts, waxes, and polishes furniture, machines, and equipment throughout the County facilities
• Gathers, empties and cleans waste receptacles; cleans, services, supplies and sanitizes restrooms
• Performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing carpets, and washing walls.
• Vacuums floors and carpets; sweeps, mops, strips, waxes and buffs floors.

DO YOU QUALIFY?

• Do you have High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience?
• Do you possess or have the ability to obtain a valid driver\'s license and be insurable?
