We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and functional. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including residential painting, drywall repairs, basic plumbing such as installing kitchen faucets and bathroom sinks, customer service abilities. Advanced plumbing and hvac skills are a plus. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and leading small projects to enhance our operational efficiency. Reports to manager on site.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and areas for improvement.
Perform residential painting to maintain aesthetic standards and protect surfaces.
Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or upgrades.
Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems effectively.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.
Work Orders for tenants
Install kitchen faucets, bathroom sinks and angle stops
Respond to after hours emergencies
Duties may also include but are not limited to: Minor repairs, installing appliances, checking electrical wiring, maintaining grounds, cleaning, replacing light bulbs, inspecting and troubleshooting equipment, testing safety systems, working as a team with others on renovations/projects, and reporting to manager daily when arriving and leaving for daily tasks and updates with issues around the property.
Requirements
Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong understanding of residential painting techniques and drywall repairs.
Plumbing and hvac skills preferred but not required.
Proficient in maintaining various systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Problem solving abilites
Strong leadership qualities is a plus
Proficiency with tools
