Digital Print - Machine Operator - Seasonal

: 1st or 2nd shift w/ some overtime & weekends

Summary:

Digital Lizard is looking for Machine Operators experienced with bindery and/or press machinery to help their peak season production. This is a temporary position from November to January.

Responsibilities:

Adjust, operate, and maintain top of the line machinery. Process orders based on the specifications outlined in the work order. Managing print queue, ensuring optimal print/bind, quality checks, and replenish supplies to maintain consistent performance. Perform minor repairs and maintenance of equipment on a scheduled and as needed basis. Familiarize products and specifications including setup, size, and paper. Maintain a clean work environment while following all safety regulations. Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

Mechanical knowledge & manufacturing experience required. Skill to read and understand job specifications to determine press set-up materials needed to run the job successfully. Must have sufficient knowledge of printer capabilities to determine the most appropriate use of the printer and corrective adjustments required to run efficiently. Must have the ability to work in a high level, fast-paced environment while maintaining focus, attention to detail, and quick decision making. Ability to work solely as well as in a team setting. + Due to the nature of this position, a flexible schedule is required as hours may vary at times based on production needs.
