We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Machine Operator (Entry-Mid Level) to join our PFC team. The ideal candidate will have some prior machine operation experience, along with basic knowledge of making offsets and performing tool changes. This role requires someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and committed to producing high-quality work.
Duties
Operate and monitor a variety of manufacturing equipment including GROB machines.
Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
Perform tool changes and make necessary offsets
Monitor equipment performance and product quality
Follow work instructions and quality standards
Communicate issues or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner
Set up machines using drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications to ensure precise fabrication
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
Conduct quality control inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances
Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards; support continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing process
Qualifications
Proven experience in manufacturing or factory settings, with knowledge of machining.
Understanding of offsets and tool changes
Strong attention to detail
Good attendance and reliability are a must
Willingness to train on 1st shift for several weeks before moving to 2nd shift
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Mechanical knowledge including operation of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and basic math skills for quality control measurements
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues efficiently
Shift Info:
Training: 1st Shift (for several weeks) 5:00am-3:00pm (Monday-Thursday)
Regular Schedule: 2nd Shift (after training) 3:00pm-1:00am (Monday-Thursday)
Overtime may be required
Pay: $19.50 - $23.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
