Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, flexo presses, stamping presses, and press brake machines. Perform setup and adjustments on machines to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce components accurately. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high-quality standards. Collaborate with team members on assembly lines to optimize workflow and efficiency. Handle materials safely and efficiently using forklifts or other materials handling equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred. Familiarity with Fanuc systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), CAM programming, GD&T, and SolidWorks is advantageous. Hands-on experience with welding, fabrication, tooling, and assembly processes is beneficial. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools effectively. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Previous experience in quality control processes within a manufacturing facility is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being capable of working independently when required. Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
