The Nampa Orthopedics Clinic are looking for a passionate and motivated Medical Assistant to work at our clinic located at the Nampa Medical Plaza near the Nampa Medical Center!

About this Position:

This MA position will help support a Sports Medicine/Orthopedics Physician. In addition to the typical MA duties such as rooming, vitals, and medication review, you will also assist with casting, surgery scheduling, prior authorizations, and MRI authorizations.
Work Schedule/Locations: This position will work week days, Mondays - Fridays, typically around the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. Shift start and end times will vary based on providers\' schedules. Education and Certification Requirements :

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:

American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)

American Medical Technologists (RMA)

National Healthcare Association (CCMA)

National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)

American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)

Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire General Requirements :

Previous clinical experience preferred.

Electronic health record (EHR) experience a plus.

Experience with process improvement or LEAN philosophy preferred.
