The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Luxury Suites Expeditor to join our team at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Luxuery Suites Expeditor, you will engage with our culinary and runner team on the delivery of food selections from the kitchen to the suite level for distribution.

Responsibilities

• Quickly respond to changing needs to ensure delivery timelines are met for both pre-orders and game-day orders.
• Develops and maintains a working knowledge of all menu items - including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens - to answer questions and be able to identify selections on sight
• Participate in pre-shift meeting, set-up, opening & closing procedures, arrange inventory, notifies supervisor of any inventory deficiency or shortages.
• Reviews and is familiar with the day s menus - including any special requests or notations
• Confirms all items are prepared to standard and served timely and accurately
• Assists with delivering food and/or beverage to assigned areas throughout the day as needed
• Pulls and directs game day order tickets for culinary production
• Maintains standards of order and cleanliness throughout the event
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21years of age
• Ability to multi-task, and work efficiently in a high-volume fast-paced environment
• Minimum of 1-year experience as an expeditor in a stadium, hotel, full-service restaurant, catering, or similar dining environment or 2 years experience as a stadium food and beverage runner
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge of the food and beverage industry
• Ability to problem solve and react in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to complete all required training, including ServSafe Alcohol certification if applicable
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for set-up, service, and breakdown of assigned area(s)
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand
• Variable temperatures - required to move between hot, noisy conditions of kitchen and climate-controlled dining environment
• May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces
