Job Description

Must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with full availability for the rest of the week




Must be able to work until 10pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following:


+ Interact positively and effectively with co-workers and guests + Greet customers and direct them to their seats
+ Take beverage and food order and enter them in the system in a timely fashion
+ Serve food and drinks, be attentive to drink refills and guest needs
+ Assign tables; seat guests, distribute menus and cater to large groups
+ Provides prompt, courteous and efficient service to all guests
+ Demonstrate exceptional customer service to guest
+ Make recommendations and memorize food menu
+ Process accurate cash, credit card and coupon transactions
+ Keep work area in compliance with health regulation and department procedures
All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

:


+ Strong verbal and written communication skills + Strong customer service & interpersonal skills
+ Knowledge of how to count and balance register
+ Knowledge of food & health regulations
+ Requires the ability to follow directions from supervisor
+ Requires the ability to follow directions and procedures
+ Strong organizational skills


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:





High School diploma or equivalent. One (1) year experience working in a restaurant environment preferred


AGE:





Must be 18 years of age or above.


LANGUAGE SKILLS:





Ability to read and understand a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral. Fluency in English required. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:





Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


REASONING ABILITY:





Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations. Requires the ability to understand and follow policies and standard operating procedures and be adept and proactive in problem solving.


Reports directly to the Restaurant Manager. The Server's primary role is to ensure our customers have exceptional dining experience providing incomparable service and courteous customer service.
