Position: LPN-LTC Location: Pahala, HI 96777, United States Shift: 12 hour shift Varied Day& Night Contract length: 13 week with possible Extension : A Licensed Practical Nurse is a professional who plans and manages patient care according to each individual\'s needs. They interview patients and record their medical history and physical conditions like blood pressure or temperature while obtaining vital signs. Roles& responsibilities:

• Plans and manages patient care according to each patient\xe2\x80\x99s needs.
• Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
• Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Provides routine care for patients.
• Observes patients\xe2\x80\x99 health.
• Reviews medical charts.
• Accompanies patients to their rooms.
• Assists physicians and registered nurses.
• Communicates with patients and their families.
• Performs standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
• Prepares specimens for lab courier.
• Administers medications.
• Provides wound care.
• Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas.
• Assists with patient comfort.
• Monitors catheters.
