Positive Changes, a leader in partial hospitalization program (PHP) services for children and adolescents, has an immediate opening for a
licensed therapist (candidates will be considered)
. Our therapists provide weekly individual, family, and group therapies in-house. Our partial hospitalization program is the best way to keep a child out of an inpatient setting and in the home where we can foster meaningful change.

We also offer you the opportunity to make an extra $10k-$20k per year by providing outpatient services to discharged clients after program hours. The company offers a 70/30 split, provides all billing services and office space. This is a great opportunity to grow an outpatient practice, while also ensuring a guaranteed salary.
Our therapists operate within the objectives and policies established by Positive Changes, LLC. You will work closely with all staff to plan and coordinate the responsibilities outlined in the job description below.
Duties/ Responsibilities
Attends treatment team meetings to provide input into a plan that reflects an understanding of the client issues related to physical health, cognitive development, psychosocial status, diagnoses & their manifestations.
Demonstrate responsiveness to new admissions by meeting with/contacting the client and family within 24 hours of assignment
Complies with a schedule which allows reasonable availability to clients, their families & caseworkers returning phone calls within a reasonable time.
Completes psychosocial assessment in accordance with regulatory standards and policy, and with appropriate attention to developmental stages and family dynamics.
Provides assessments of new clients as needed, completing required documentation within regulatory standards & policy.
Incorporates assessment findings in the formulation of a comprehensive treatment plan within the required time frame. Displays ability to correctly train staff in the process.
Availability for On Call rotation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/ Abilities
Consistently performs duties in an independent effective manner, prioritizing in order to provide effective treatment and demonstrating effective use of time.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with direct care staff regarding client treatment issues.
Resolves conflicts with colleagues in a professional manner, ensuring that interpersonal issues do not impact the quality of client care and that proper communication channels are followed.
Education/Experience
Master's degree in qualifying counseling field.
Licensed through an approved supervision agreement.
Experience in the treatment of children and/or adolescents in an intensive outpatient setting.
Meets annual in services requirements and staff development hours.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 15 pounds at times, frequent sitting, standing and walking, squatting, bending, reaching, twisting, walking across rough surfaces, and occasionally climbing stairs with or without assistance.
