Responsibilities
TO BE ON THE FLOOR PLAYING WITH CHILDREN
Aid in the implementation of daily lesson plans and activities in alignment with curriculum standards to promote active learning and development.
Foster a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages children's independence, creativity, and social skills.
Supervise children closely to ensure safety at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support ongoing educational goals and behavioral expectations.
Assist with classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and resolving conflicts compassionately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and learning spaces.
Document observations of children's progress and share updates with lead teachers or program coordinators as needed.
Qualifications
Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or childcare setting is preferred.
Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect positively with young children, parents, and team members.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules or classroom needs while maintaining a cheerful attitude.
Must hold or be willing to obtain relevant certifications such as CPR/First Aid (training provided if necessary).
Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing consistent care daily.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
