Department Details

Sanford Health is Now Hiring Logistic Technicians to work in our fast-paced Hospital Environment. This role is a customer service oriented position. This position is PRN. PRN means that this position works as needed. This role can work 0 to 40 hours a week depending on the needs of the department. This role does not offer dental, medical or vision benefits. Sanford Health is open 24 hours/7 days a week. This role works Monday to Friday. We look forward to speaking with you about our Supply Chain positions!

Responsibilities include dispensing supplies, managing par locations, and receiving product. Cross training in other areas will be provided as well.

Logistics Technicians are the unsung heroes and silent helpers in patient care. This job is a great fit for someone who likes to keep busy and be on their feet. You will have the opportunity to interact with other staff and units throughout the day as well as learn about various hospital supplies and processes.

Job Summary

Responsible for the daily inventory, receiving and distribution of supplies, equipment and/or instruments as directed by the department. May undertake the procuring of rental equipment. Maintain inventory control procedures in order to maintain safety, quality and accuracy.

Familiarity with location of inventory in the department and throughout designated units.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Plus two years of experience with Warehouse Inventory and/or Customer Service preferred.

Depending on location, a driver s license may be required and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category I, II or III drivers.
