: JOB SUMMARY
As a Logistics Specialist, you will have the chance to work directly with marketing, planning and plant operations teams as well as our trucking providers to ensure our customer\xe2\x80\x99s loads are delivered timely, efficiently and without hassle. If you are a problem solver, detail oriented, a good team player, effective communicator and are looking for an opportunity with a strong, growing company in an exciting industry, we can provide you all the necessary training and tools to be successful.
This role is located in Wichita, KS and is not open to remote locations. DURING A TYPICAL DAY

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and transportation providers.
• Negotiate competitive truck rates with all our transportation providers.
• Forecast and manage inventories at multiple load origin and destination facilities.
• Analyze shipments and ensure product is being delivered in the most efficient manner.
• Ensure accuracy of transaction details with our systems.
• Collaborate across multiple business teams within the office and at production sites.
• Problem solve as situations arise with transportation providers, customers, and production sites.

: QUALIFICATIONS: WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in related field or 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with scheduling in related field
• Experience working with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Outlook
• High School Diploma or equivalent
