Operations Logistics Specialist (Part-Time to Full-Time) Production\xc2\xb7 Rochester, New York Reports to: Operations Manager
The Opportunity: This position will support Operations by processing material receipts, shipping product to customers, and general inventory management. You will interface with all departments, enabling company success by ensuring material is where it needs to be when it needs to be there. This position will report to our Operations Manager, who sits in our Rochester, NY office. This is a part time position working 20-30 hours per week with flexibility if needed.

How I will Contribute:

• Receive incoming material using established processes and systems for Production as well as other departments such as Facilities, Engineering, etc.
• Open and visually confirm contents of each delivery, properly receive into inventory or production, and manage the movement of materials in and out of inventory.
• Deliver all approved and identified job material to proper inventory shelves, racks, or work locations.
• Use Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to complete all transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of material storage areas.
• Process all shipping functions, including obtaining material, packing, and creating packing lists and shipping labels.
• Assist with coordinating delivery carriers for shipments, such as FedEx, USPS, UPS and local couriers.
• Track incoming/outgoing packages and compile data on a daily basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to Orolia Defense & Security:

• High School Diploma.
• 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in shipping, receiving, and/or inventory management.
• Proficient in Office 365, Word, and Excel.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or other MRP/ERP systems a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Skillful communication with team members across multiple departments and levels.
• Good understanding of quality processes.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
• Ability to be flexible and have fun!
