About Our Agency:
South Carolina ETV (SCETV) is the state\'s public educational broadcasting network. SCETV amplifies South Carolina voices, provides educational experiences and strengthens communities, while working to create a stronger, more connected and informed South Carolina. SCETV provides national and local content to classrooms via internet services Knowitall.org and PBS Learning Media. SCETV also provides teacher training and recertification in face-to-face and online settings.

: Shoots, produces and edits promotional material to include audio, video and photography. Deadline-sensitive production requiring a self-starter.

Job Duties: Promo Procurement. Utilizes various resources and platforms to procure, compile and edit promos for all externally produced programs. Works closely with the Programming and Traffic teams, as well as Communications staff, to ensure that promotional priorities are met and that each of SCETV\'s channels has more than enough promotional content to fill the schedule. Produces and maintains a promo list for each channel, remaining approximately two weeks out for each.

Local Promo Production: Creates promos from finished or unfinished programs, from concept to execution, that respect the producer, program intent, and copyright limitations. Serves as SCETV\'s promo editor, using edit systems as needed.

Editing for Special Requests: Fulfills special editing requests for specific on-air and online promotion needs. Attends events and other agency meetings to gather footage and photos for agency promotion on social media, websites, and other platforms. Develops innovative ideas to promote agency activities.

Promo Shoots/Underwriting: Works closely with the agency\'s Underwriting team to coordinate film shoots and/or collaborate with various underwriters to produce spots for air. Directs talent as needed, always exemplifying professionalism and excellent customer service.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and experience or additional education in production of radio or television programs.

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor\'s degree and four (4) years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
