The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring full-time Linen Drivers to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Linen Driver you will operate the housekeeping vehicles in a safe and timely manner to deliver and retrieve linen piles on and off the vehicle. This job is very physical and requires both strength and stamina to continuously lift, carry, and maneuver the linens safely.

Minimum pay rate: $13.85 / hour

• Use housekeeping vehicle to pick up, load, off load and deliver linens to and from scheduled locations providing prompt and safe service.
• Stock linens in designated areas, ensuring all storage areas and linen closets are neat, clean and organized.
• Ensure work vehicle and work areas are clean and free of clutter.
• May occasionally interact with guests to provide service or information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A valid driver\'s license is required.
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle per laws and regulations avoiding the use of cell phones, texting, and messaging.
• Must read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with managers, associates, and guests.
• Ability to use time management skills, work independently, prioritize work, and make decisions to meet deadlines.
• Must pass pre-employment background including MVR and drug test.

Physical Requirements

• Duties of the position are physical, requiring strength and stamina to work an entire shift.
• Reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, with the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Requires sitting for periods of time with physical, visual, and audio acuity sufficient to drive a vehicle.
• Exposure to varying climate conditions including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow.
• Use of chemicals to clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
