The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring full-time or part-time Bussers to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Busser, you are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen and all food and drink serving equipment.

Minimum pay rate: $13.85 / hour

• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room, equipment, tables, chairs, service stations, floors, and windows.
• Busses dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware, cleans and organizes table after guest departure.
• Returns dirty dishes, silverware, glassware and linen to dish washing area, with appropriate sorting and placement.
• Removes and empty trash as needed.
• Responds to guest requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours, as needed.
• Good communication skills, customer service experience a plus.
• Assists fellow co-workers, possess strong teamwork ethic.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills set priorities and quickly respond to changing needs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, balance and move food trays and bus tubs weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand or walk for the entire length of shift, possible use of stairs.
• Bend reach, stoop, squat repetitively with sense of urgency.
• Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners.
