The Legal Counsel will provide expert legal advice and support to ensure compliance with all applicable US and local laws and regulations in the sports leisure/ hospitality industry. This role requires a strong understanding of legal frameworks, with a focus on delivering high-quality legal solutions to the CEO and wider leadership team.
As Legal Counsel, responsibilities include:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on various matters, including leases, facilities, construction and employment contracts, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents to protect the company's interests.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws applicable to the leisure, travel, and tourism industry.
• Work with the General Counsel (based in Europe) to provide US legal advise to the CEO, senior leadership team and local US stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide proactive legal support and risk assessments.
• Manage relationships with external legal counsel as needed.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to streamline operations and mitigate risks.

The successful Legal Counsel should have:

• Fluent French language skills essential.
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• NY/ Florida State Bar in good standing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
