About us Ryan Smith & Carbine, Ltd. is one of Vermont\'s oldest and largest law firms. We offer our clients a full range of legal services in a friendly, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with legal document and case management software; electronic filing in state and federal court; and strong word processing skills. Organizational and administrative skills are required to ensure smooth running of the office and effective file management under the supervision of an attorney. This individual will communicate frequently with the firm\'s clients in order to serve them well. Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to lawyer
- Communicate with clients and other law firms
- File organization, typing, administrative assistance
- Bachelor\'s degree or relevant work experience
- Experience in legal assistance
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures, electronic filings and protocols
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong technical and organizational skills
