As a

Lead Technician

, your role will be to oversee maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of equipment. You will be responsible for the quality of mechanical interventions, compliance with safety standards, as well as the scheduling and monitoring of work to ensure proper execution and conformity. Whether in the workshop or in the field, you will represent the company's technical reliability and contribute directly to the performance of our customers' equipment.

Your contribution to the company's success will include the following tasks:

Scheduling, Compliance, and Work Monitoring:

Coordinate and monitor workshop tasks, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and operational priorities while addressing HR and diagnostic issues as needed.

Perform Maintenance and Mechanical Repairs:

Execute mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic repairs and maintenance accurately, following specifications and documenting work clearly.

Diagnose and Resolve Technical Issues:

Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement safe, effective corrective solutions.

Perform Inspections and Ensure Compliance:

Conduct inspections, document results, and ensure equipment meets mechanical, electrical, and safety standards.

Communication and Follow-up with Service Advisor / Service Department:

Provide clear updates on work performed, manage parts returns, and support inventory tracking.

Comply with Safety, Quality, and Productivity Standards:

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment while adhering to safety, quality, and productivity requirements.

Represent the Company at the Customer's Site and Manage Logistics (if required):

Deliver professional customer service on-site, communicate effectively, document interventions, and maintain service vehicles.

General:

Accurately record worked hours and perform all other related duties as assigned.

What we are looking for in our future colleagues:

Advanced English required. Basic Spanish (asset). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and solve problems without direct supervision. Excellent customer service skills and professionalism when representing the company. Diploma in Heavy Equipment Mechanics, Agricultural Mechanics, Electromechanics, or a related field. Relevant experience in equipment repair and maintenance (aerial work platforms, scissor lifts, telescopic forklifts, or similar). Experience in hydraulic and electrical diagnostics (strong asset). Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly. Autonomy, resourcefulness, and good sense of priorities. Team spirit and reliability. Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical principles. Ability to use diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical diagrams. Proper use of measuring and adjustment tools. Ability to use company IT tools (tablet and ERP system). Rigorous, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to unforeseen situations. Integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
