Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer / Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing scalable and secure software architecture solutions for our iOS and Android applications. You will work with a technology stack comprised of iOS, Android, AWS, Lambda, and Adobe Analytics to develop innovative software solutions that integrate seamlessly with our back-office API systems.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Gather business requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for software solutions.
  • Design software architecture: Develop scalable and secure software architecture solutions that adhere to enterprise standards, ensuring seamless integration with back-office API systems.
  • iOS and Android application design: Create high-quality software designs for iOS and Android applications, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Technology stack expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge of iOS, Android, AWS, Lambda, and Adobe Analytics to leverage the full potential of the technology stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of goals.
  • Technical leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting best practices and driving continuous improvement.
  • Quality assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure thorough testing and quality control of software solutions.
  • Keep up with industry trends: Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering and solutions architecture, applying relevant technologies to enhance our products and processes.
Qualifications

Minimum:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related discipline and 6 years\' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master\'s degree and 4 years\' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 18 years\' experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer or Solutions Architect, preferably in the mobile application development industry.
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android development, including knowledge of Swift, Kotlin, and relevant frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of AWS, Lambda, and cloud computing technologies.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics or similar analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating with back-office systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to propose innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
Preferred:
  • Prior experience in the mobile wireless product industry or familiarity with selling mobile wireless products is a plus.
