Job Title: Senior Software Developer Position Summary: The Senior Software Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of our GIS and custom developed software applications. You will be analyzing and designing ways to improve business processes and the gathering of information across the company. This position is part of a small team that supports our users in the field on a day-to-day basis. They also help to analyze GIS data and maps to provide accurate estimates of current and potential work to our Business Development and Proposals teams. This role is also responsible for automating our manual business processes to improve productivity and reduce data error rates as we continue to grow and expand our operations. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with peers and has a lead role in defining the strategy and vision of the organization\xe2\x80\x99s software development team in support of business goals and objectives.
• Manage the ESRI toolset consisting of ArcGIS and Survey123.
• Manages the OutSystems development environment and ensures that we are following software development best practices.
• Responsible for developing interfaces with various internal and external systems for data collection and business process improvement and automation.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining application development security standards.
• Implementation of application security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and intellectual property.
• Monitor industry trends around GIS and software development tools to ensure the company stays ahead of the curve.
• Document, develop and deliver training for employees around the applications developed to support the business.
• Establish and manage the relationships with the vendors that we utilize for GIS and software development.
• Prioritize our GIS and software development work to ensure we are effectively and efficiently supporting the business.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing custom software solutions to support various business processes.
• Working knowledge and expertise with Azure and Microsoft365 environments.
• Minimum 5 years of GIS experience with the ESRI, ArcGIS, and Survey123 suite of tools.
• Experience with OutSystems or other low code development tools preferred.
• Experiencing building applications with offline capability.

• Ability to travel 10% \xe2\x80\x93 20%.
• Extensive knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
• GISP certification a plus.
