We are currently seeking to fill a Lead Service Technician position in the Kansas City area. Ideal candidates are reliable, have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, work independently, but enjoy being part of a team.

For those job seekers who are interested in working with Arcade and Skill based games. Few individuals have the opportunity to work on amusement machines; and most do not have a ton of experience. But if you love to tinker with technological items and solve issues with games, this is for you. Must be willing to learn on the fly and use various outlets to help you finish projects; whether online or with calling the manufacturers.

Job Summary:



Lead Service Technicians transport, assemble, disassemble, install, and uninstall equipment and keep all equipment working properly through maintenance, software updates, and repairs. They utilize all available resources to discern and execute the appropriate action in each unique circumstance across a wide range of machines in multiple locations. Technicians regularly receive, log, and resolve service calls.

Lead Service Techs will have deeper knowledge and more experience, can work independently with minimal direction and interface well with customers on site. They are responsible for helping and guiding other Techs, Route Specialists and Route Collectors.

Service Techs visit and service amusement vending equipment at retail establishments and interface with retail staff and management personnel. Service Techs will repair arcade games, jukebox and sound systems, and other machines. Work is performed at our warehouse and also at customer locations.

Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Mobile Phone and Uniforms provided.

Job Responsibilities:



Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment in the field and in the shop Provide technical assistance via phone to coworkers out in the field Respond to service calls out in the field Assist with equipment installation and removal Keep detailed records of all repairs and service calls Use hand tools and power tools to install and fix machines Testing and cleaning equipment Providing customer service and assistance on site and remotely Call various Tech Support lines to help resolve issues Read technical manuals to help resolve issues Communicate/record service call and repair resolutions to supervisors and databases Assisting and supporting Technician I employees Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:



Valid driver's license, able to be insured under company insurance policy Be available to answer questions from other service techs on weekends Attention to detail and organized Problem solving skills Familiar with basic hand tools and power tools Communication and interpersonal skills Basic electrical knowledge Familiar with computers and smart phones Willingness to receive training on the job and through training courses Ability to clearly explain technical instructions

Physical Requirements:



Manual dexterity, as needed, to make repairs Visual acuity, as needed to inspect and repair equipment Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, with ease Able to stand, sit, kneel and lay down for period of time to make repairs Able to drive for long periods of time

Qualified Candidates Must:



Have a Valid Driver's License and a Good Driving Record (MVR required) Submit to a background check, and be bondable
