Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Restoration Technician to spearhead restoration projects involving water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and other disaster recovery services. In this vital role, you will coordinate restoration efforts, and ensure high-quality service delivery. Your expertise in cleaning, drying, and the use of hand and power tools will drive successful project outcomes. Responsibilities

Assess damage sites thoroughly to determine scope of work for water, fire, mold, and other restoration services. Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely to perform cleaning, demolition, construction, and remediation tasks. Execute water extraction, drying, cleaning, and deodorization processes with precision to restore properties to pre-loss condition. Conduct fire damage cleanup including soot removal, surface cleaning, and debris disposal while adhering to safety standards. Perform mold remediation procedures following industry guidelines to eliminate mold growth effectively. Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, and project managers to communicate progress and address concerns promptly. Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed, including reports on damage assessment, work completed, materials used, and safety compliance. Ensure proper use of cleaning agents, restoration equipment, and construction materials throughout each project. Uphold industry best practices in restoration techniques while adhering to local codes and safety standards.

Experience

Proven experience in the restoration industry with a experience in water damage restoration, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, or related fields. WRT Certificate required. Ideal candidate will have AMRT, FSRT, ASD certificates as well. but these are not required. Familiarity with the use of hand tools such as scrapers, pry bars, brushes; power tools including saws, drills; and specialized equipment for drying or cleaning purposes. We are an emergency service business. As such, it will be necessary at times to complete above job tasks after normal business hours/weekends.
Compensation includes guaranteed hours, overtime opportunities as well as bonuses for certain jobs completed.
