The Role
Seeking two Lead Business Intelligence Developers to join the Service Assurance Operations Business Analytics team. Each role will play a key role in developing management and BI reporting for our organization. At least one or both candidates will have expertise in SQL Server, SSIS development and complex SQL query language, as well as Microsoft Power BI and/or in-platform ServiceNow development.

As a member of the Service Assurance Business Analytics team, you will be responsible for end-to-end creation of reporting and data automation solutions. You will be responsible for scoping, developing, testing and supporting the solutions you create. You will combine deep technical knowledge with a capacity to understand the reporting and analytics needs of our front-line business teams.

The Main Responsibilities
What you will be doing:

• Be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle including, requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, training, implementation and support of reporting applications to be used internally by our employees.
• Translating business needs into technical specifications in applications and tools such as Power BI and ServiceNow.
• Using warehouse data and application data to generate reports to support business decision-making and business performance monitoring.
• Create complex SQL queries and database objects (stored procs, views, etc) to pull and manage data.
• Develop complex SSIS packages to extract, transform and load data to feed Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Develop front end reporting applications using applications such as Microsoft Power BI and/or ServiceNow for in-platform reporting and analytics.
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems and resolve data and reporting issues identified from business partners.
• Provide data and programming expertise to meet internal ad hoc data requirements.
• Generate and deliver quality reports to customers and perform quality assurance checks on reports.
• Troubleshoot complex coding issues that require back-tracing logic through multiple packages, stored procedures and data sources.
• Review business processes and translate them into BI reporting and analytics solutions, while following best practices and standards.

What We Look For in a Candidate
What you need to apply:

• Candidate 1: 5+ years\' experience in ServiceNow development including design, development, troubleshooting and implementing baseline and custom applications to enhance the platform. Preferred experience with Performance Analytics, metric development, SLA definitions, business rules, case and ITSM modules, configurable workspace, reporting, dashboards, etc
• Candidate 2: 5+ years\' experience with SQL Server DBA, including the design and development of complex SQL-based database objects and SSIS packages, including implementation, configuration, maintenance and system health and performance. 5+ years\' experience in developing visual reports, KPI scorecards and dashboards using Power BI Desktop, supporting complex data extract, transformation and load (ETL) and the ability to identify BI application performance issues and performance-tuning.
• Experience with database systems, reporting and analysis tools such as: MS SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS), Power BI, MySQL, SalesForce, Oracle BI, SAP Business Objects, MS Excel, MS Access, Tableau, etc
• Experience with Programming languages such as: JavaScript, MYSQL, XML, HTML, CSS, C#, VBA, Query Languages (SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, DMX, MDX), DAX, etc
• Experienced in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to communicate with business leaders and end users.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, research and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration and communications skills.
• Project management skills and process improvement skills.
• Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
• Genesys Cloud experience preferred.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
