The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Internal Services is recruiting to fill a Lead Business Analyst vacancy. This position will be stationed out of the DNR Service Center in Madison, however current Department policy allows teleworking for up to 60% of the work week! Position Summary





In this position, the incumbent will ensure integrity, security and confidentiality of data by providing consultation, leadership, and coordination of work efforts. This work is integral in bringing together IS developer resources and Business Analysts to use resources strategically to support the best outcomes in the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of internal applications. Salary Information





Starting pay is $42.50 - $45.50 per hour ($88,400 - $96,640 annually) in pay schedule and range 07-33. The classification for this position is IS Buisness Automation Specialist. Pay on appointment for current or former state employees is based on the State Compensation Plan. These positions include an excellent benefits package, including health care, vacation, sick leave, and retirement benefits. A 12-month probationary period may be required.

Employment will require the selected candidate to pass a background check. DNR does not sponsor work visas. Thus, in compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire.

Qualifications





Please make sure to describe the following qualifications within your resume and/or letter of qualifications. Required qualifications include the following:
  • Experience with network systems
  • Experience with information system analysis, business requirements gathering and systems development methodology
  • Project management experience
Best-qualified applicants will have a combination of the following qualifications:
  • Experience with Federal and State laws, policies and procedures, internal controls and best business practices regarding financial integrity, data security and handling of confidential information
  • Experience with information technology policies, procedures and software applications systems, including web and internet systems
  • Experience with systems development life cycle techniques such as user interview, data collection, advanced systems analysis and design techniques, cost/benefit analysis, system testing/debugging techniques and system documentation techniques
