Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Lead Budtender to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a deep understanding of cannabis products. As a Lead Budtender, you will oversee daily store operations, assist customers with product selections, and ensure an engaging shopping experience. This role offers an opportunity to lead by example in a fast-paced retail environment focused on education and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Provide expert guidance to customers on cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Manage daily store operations, including supervising staff and ensuring compliance with store policies Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on product effects and usage Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Handle cash register operations including cashiering, cash handling, and balancing registers at shift end Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment and stock rotation Enforce store policies related to safety, security, and legal compliance Train new staff members on POS systems, customer service protocols, and product knowledge Assist with marketing efforts such as promoting promotions or special events within the store

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems and retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management Supervising experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation Ability to perform upselling techniques effectively while maintaining professionalism Experience with merchandising, stocking, and retail sales strategies Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base Demonstrated ability to educate customers through product demos and detailed product knowledge Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise staff and manage daily operations effectively Familiarity with grocery store or retail environments is advantageous for understanding customer needs

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
