Job Summary

The Laundry Technician is responsible for stocking, distributing, and transporting clean and soiled linens throughout the facility. This role supports multiple departments by ensuring linens are delivered accurately, handled safely, and maintained in an organized and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Stock, distribute, and retrieve clean and soiled linens from assigned departments

#####

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry work area

#####

Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all linen handling activities

#####

Communicate effectively with team members and supported departments

#####

Work independently with minimal supervision while following written and verbal instructions

#####

Meet or exceed established productivity and performance standards

#####

Use good judgment when making day-to-day work decisions

#####

Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and relevant work experience

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and lifting

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Exposure to healthcare and industrial laundry environments

#####

Possible exposure to blood and body fluids, chemicals, temperature fluctuations, and other workplace hazards
