LOCATION: Brainerd, MN

Sheridan MN, a CJK Group company, (formerly Bang Printing) started out in central Minnesota\xe2\x80\x99s lake area in 1899 as a commercial printer has evolved into one of the nation\xe2\x80\x99s leading short- to mid-run book manufacturers is looking for an experienced Bindery Large Machine Operator. Today, Sheridan MN offers a complete book solution that encompasses printing and binding, fulfillment, eBook conversion, eCommerce solutions, and more\xe2\x80\x94all in-house, all at competitive prices.

Job Summary:

Responsible for operating large bindery equipment within predetermined time frames. Direct and lead team members to produce books cost effectively and quality processes according to customer guidelines. Learn to setup, run, and maintain all large bindery equipment as assigned, including folders, cutters, stitchers, BF Case-In-Line, Kolbus Perfect Binder, and KM-600 Perfect Binder.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years or more of experience on similar equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Good mechanical understanding
• Ability to read and understand written instructions

Physical Requirements:

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals

• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times
• Willing to work all shifts
• Safety toe shoes required
• Hearing protection required

Hours: 2nd shift \xe2\x80\x93 Monday to Friday: 11PM \xe2\x80\x93 7AM

Shift Differential of $1.00/hour
