MACHINE OPERATOR

PAY: $20/HR

LOCATION: KENT, WA, US

Aerotek is looking for Machine operators in Kent on behalf of our clients. looking for candidates who has Manufacturing and Machine operating experience.

Description:

The largest wire manufacturer in the western United States, and their products are used in a wide variety of fields, including agriculture, construction, transportation, communications and industrial applications. The foundations of their business are galvanized and reinforcement wire, though they also produce an assortment of specialty wires to fit almost any need.

• The Machine Operators will be responsible for working in Fabric, Wire Draw, Field Fence, Furnaces, or Galvanizing.
• Candidates will need to be comfortable working on extremely large machines that primarily cut, splice, extend, and galvanize wire of various thickness.
• Extremely high attention to detail since wire is constantly getting moved by forklifts, run at various heights in/out of machines, and 2 ton spindles are moved throughout the warehouse.
• Must be comfortable operating machinery and lifting up to 50lbs.
• It is organized but not the cleanest environment so ideally someone who doesn\'t mind getting dirty.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience working with large machines or operating heavy tools in a manufacturing environment.

Pay:

• $20hr (Swing shift differential 25 cents and night shift 35 cents union) can earn $2-$6 per hour on amount of product produced.
