Position Overview:

We seek an experienced

Landscape Operations Manager

to lead our installation crews. Responsibilities include personnel management, scheduling, quality control, equipment maintenance, and customer communication. The ideal candidate has a strong background in landscape construction and project management, with the ability to oversee multiple projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling & Operations:

Coordinate personnel, equipment, and materials for landscape and hardscape installations.

Project Management:

Read and execute landscape and construction plans accurately.

Personnel Management:

Hire, train, and supervise crews, conduct performance reviews, and enforce company policies.

Communication:

Act as a liaison between customers, design staff, and crews.

Quality Control:

Inspect job sites, ensure high standards, and troubleshoot issues.

Recordkeeping:

Keep accurate job notes, report time on jobs, job costing analysis.

Equipment & Safety:

Maintain tools and equipment; oversee utility locates and compliance.

Worker's Compensation:

Manage documentation and serve as a liaison in the event of a claim.

Snow Removal:

Oversee operations during winter months.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape construction and operations management. Strong knowledge of landscape design, construction, and installation. Leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift

50 lbs

and work in various weather conditions. Experience in hiring, training, and safety regulations. Bilingual preferred; and lawn care services are a plus.
