POSITION SUMMARY:


The Lamination Tech removes all air from wet glass using a brush and/or roller. Applies layers of wet glass in many different applications. Installs different parts prior to glass work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs pattern cutting and rolling fiberglass. Properly uses resin and putty. Installs boxes, foam tanks and stringers Grinds out small imperfections Performs general housekeeping. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

Ability to work with a team Able to use drills and hand sander Able to follow instructions

Outside and inside Extreme heat Extreme humidity Extreme noise, intermittent Dust Fumes, smoke, or gasses Solvents (degreasing agents) Slippery or uneven walking surfaces

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
