A leading law firm in the Western United States is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate with a minimum of two years of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) litigation experience. The successful candidate will join the firm's Labor & Employment practice group in one of several Western U.S. offices. This is a full-time, partnership-track position offering comprehensive benefits and discretionary annual bonuses. More senior candidates may be considered for Counsel or Partner roles depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Handle OSHA litigation matters under both Federal OSHA and state plans (California, Arizona, Nevada preferred)
Manage all aspects of OSHA proceedings, including: OSHA inspection procedures, Citation contest procedural rules, Discovery processes
Application of OSHA standards
Represent clients during OSHA investigations and enforcement actions
Collaborate with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions and practice areas
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of OSHA litigation experience
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Strong academic credentials
Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar in the jurisdiction where the candidate will practice (mandatory)
Demonstrated experience with OSHA standards and litigation procedures

Pay: $200,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
