Role Objectives:



The Labeler is responsible for accurately labeling products and shipments according to customer specifications and routing guides in a third-party logistics (3PL) environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow detailed instructions, basic math skills, and flexibility to assist with general warehouse labor tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Required: Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire. Ability to read and interpret routing guides, customer instructions, and work orders. Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities. Ability to understand and follow routing guides and customer-specific instructions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer skills for accessing WMS or labeling systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying warehouse conditions. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and safety practices.

Responsibilities:



Labeling & Compliance:



Apply labels to products, cartons, and pallets according to customer instructions and routing guides. Verify accuracy of label information, including SKU, lot numbers, and shipping details.

Order Preparation:

Ensure labeled products are staged correctly for outbound shipments. Assist with packaging and palletizing as needed to meet customer requirements.

General Labor Support:

Help with tasks such as sorting, repacking, shrink-wrapping, and staging products. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support warehouse operations.

Documentation & Accuracy:

Review work orders and routing guides to confirm labeling specifications. Report any discrepancies or unclear instructions to supervisors for resolution.

Collaboration:

Work closely with warehouse staff and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate labeling. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance labeling efficiency and accuracy.

Work Hours



7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Saturday work when needed

30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.

Salary Band



Hourly- $20.00 to $21.00 per hour



Physical Demands



While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and other office productivity machinery, may need to reach, stoop, kneel to access items

Must be able to stand, walk, twist for an extended period of time

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to work requirements

Heavy repeated lifting is required

Frequently communicates with other employees and third-parties, must be able to speak clearly and exchange accurate information.

Regular, predictable attendance is required

Work Environment



Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers and light traffic)
