Kitchen Helper / Prep Support
to assist our chefs with basic prep, organization, and cleanliness while learning authentic Asian kitchen operations.Responsibilities:
Assist with food prep (washing, cutting, portioning ingredients). Restock stations and maintain proper food storage. Keep prep and dish areas clean, sanitized, and organized. Help receive deliveries, rotate inventory, and label items properly. Support sushi chefs, line cooks, and dish staff as needed. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards required by the health department.
Qualifications:
No kitchen experience required but preferred Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Able to lift 30-40 lbs and stand for the duration of shift. Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Interest in Japanese/Korean food or culinary culture is a plus.
Compensation:
$18.00/hr
Schedule:
Full-time or part-time available; weekends preferred.Estimated Start Date:
November 20, 2025
