Elysian Elementary School 4 Hour per Day Kitchen Staff Help REPORTS TO: Superintendent and Head Cook/Kitchen Manager Wage: $13 per hour Hours: 4 per day (10-2 pm) M-F Contract length: 178 days ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Building and surfaces are disinfected daily. Proper Hand hygiene is encouraged and taught. Ability to commute/relocate:
- Creates a positive environment which promotes appropriate behavior and successful learning.
- Assists in preparation and serving the students and staff.
- Responsible for helping assistant cook with cooking duties in the absence of the head cook
- Assists in cleaning breakfast and lunch trays and any hand washed dishes
- Helping with tables and set-up as needed
- Assists in the disposal and storage of unused foods.
- Assists in cleaning the kitchen and cafeteria area.
- Assists in the receiving of food / supply shipments.
- Maintain cooperative-working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
- Monday to Friday
