We are seeking someone with knowledge of scheduling, staff recruitment, cost analysis, and all that is involved in running a retail operation. Great people skills are a must as well as having a positive and determined attitude. Our shop makes its own confections, so applicant should have some knowledge of kitchen operations as well, or be willing to learn.
Role Requirements:
Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store.
Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure stocking within store to maintain organization and proper set up for opening/closing procedures
Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
Ensure the store always remains clean and presentable.
Train staff as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.
Supervise, train, and assist employees like Sales Representatives and Retail Store Clerks in customer service, store maintenance, and product promotions.
Checking in large orders/deliveries and ensuring every package/order is properly accounted for
Open and close store according to scheduled times with assistance of staff
