Kennel Attendant: South Hill Veterinary Hospital

As our valued veterinary kennel attendant, your job is critical to the hospital team. Caring for our clients pets and providing excellent Customer Service is our #1 Priority! We are seeking highly qualified, positive, motivated, compassionate and proactive individuals. This job is part-time for now and can move into full-time. Approximately 30-40 hours a week.

Kennel Duties:

Providing "First Class" customer service Walking dogs Cleaning kennels Feeding and caring for pets Ability to effectively listen and assist clients with positive outcomes Laundry and dishes Janitorial duties Animal restraining and assist in xrays Preparing surgical packs
Kennel Skills:

Providing "First Class" customer service Positive attitude and team work Multi-tasking in a fast paced environment Friendly, compassionate, outgoing and professional in appearance and speaking Able to work under pressure and high levels of stress Attention to detail Passionate about animal care

This position will require working one weekend day, early mornings and evening shifts. Must be able to work holidays as well which is only a few hours on those days.
