is seeking a dedicated

Kennel Assistant

to join our compassionate team! Our kennel team plays an essential role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients while providing vital support to the veterinary staff.


In this role, you will focus on patient care, husbandry, and maintaining a clean, organized hospital environment. Responsibilities include feeding and walking boarding patients, administering medications, monitoring for medical or behavioral concerns, and documenting observations with accuracy and attention to detail. You'll also help maintain sanitized kennels, common areas, and treatment spaces while ensuring supplies are well stocked.

This is a

full-time position

4/10 schedule

, requiring availability on

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

Full-time benefits and compensation

:


Compensation: $12.50-13.50 per hour, for each hour worked

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

1+years of kennel or animal handling experience Commitment to a career in veterinary medicine with ongoing training Proficiency in the following skills: + Janitorial and housekeeping duties
+ Feline boarding, including medication administration, care, and cage maintenance
+ Canine boarding, including medication administration, care, walking, and kennel maintenance
