Position Title

K-12 Digital Content Manager



Job Summary

Primary responsibilities include the management of Hillsdale's K-12 Education websites and the production and distribution of instructional videos for teachers and leaders at Hillsdale-affiliated schools.



Essential Job Functions



1. Assist with planning and executing web, SEO, email and social media campaigns alongside the Marketing Department.



2. Assist with measuring, monitoring, and reporting performance to assess against goals.



3. Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm strategies and identify trends and insights for growth.



4. Assist with identifying target audiences and market research to engage and inform key K-12 and Hillsdale College constituents.



5. Establish web presence to boost brand awareness.



6. Manage end-to-end digital projects.



7. Manage updates to Hillsdale's K-12 websites, including hillsdale.edu/bcsi, k12athome.hillsdale.edu, and k12conference.hillsdale.edu.



8. Work with the Director of Operations to coordinate the production, editing, and distribution of instructional videos for teachers and leaders of Hillsdale-affiliated schools, both at Hillsdale and on school sites.



9. Work with the K-12 events coordinator and the Audiovisual Department to coordinate the video recording and editing of various presentations during events hosted on campus.



10. Work and collaborate on multiple video studio projects and event productions simultaneously (production, broadcasting, streaming, distribution) while meeting deadlines in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.



11. Work collaboratively with marketing team members and others across the campus to develop, implement, and coordinate video studio productions and events that enhance the reputation of Hillsdale and are consistent with the College's priorities and strategic goals.



12. Conduct field-based video production, operating all audio and video production equipment.



13. Plan and perform video post-production tasks, including reviewing footage, logging, rough cuts, audio adjustments, color correction, and final editing.


Required Qualifications


Qualifications

Education and Experience

Undergraduate degree in Marketing, or comparable certification and training is required. Higher education work experience in combination with the above is a plus. Two or more years of digital content experience is highly desired.

Knowledge of content management systems and media editing software Ability to meet deadlines in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. Ability and willingness to travel on occasion. Possess excellent organizational skills.
